  • I hope Velma has a chance to read this. Thank you for letting the President know how you and all of us feel. I was upset that he smiled/smirked when you spoke. I am not a supporter of the President, I too am thoroughly disappointed with the President's role as I lost my job of 36 years.

  • Brian K in a previous comment summed it up from his personal experience. Pick the kids up and take them to their parents. This not only demonstrates rational judgement but also places the parents in the participation for punishment.

  • The "sexist" remark she made about Newsweek was, they chose a photograph orignally taken for Runners World. With that specific point, Newsweek made a poor choice of attempting to show her as a "cutsy cheer-leader" instead of an Ex-Govenor who sucessfully executed her role. Ask the Alaskans.

  • Newsvine provides cheesy surveys poor written. What a loaded question? You guys aren't even asking the question fairly? All 3 answers leave a bad spot for Palin. This is why Foxnews is at least FAIR MINDED surveys and reporting.

  • "spare the rod, spoil the child" BUT with constraint! The spanking activity is for SHOCK value not for pain threshold measurement. Adults are larger obviously and therefore, anger/rage can play a significant factor in the extent of force placed on the child.
